I left the land of corporate retail several years ago to get back in touch with my love of artful living. I have long been inspired by world travel, interior design, nature, and the mixing of unusual elements to make something beautiful. I also love building a team of rock star artisans who can help bring my vision to life. Creating a one of a kind boutique experience that brings together Milwaukee’s best floral designers with beautiful and inspiring objects for home or gift is magical for me. Come share in our journey.
About Loreen
Loreen Hablewitz is our Lead Floral and Event Designer . You may have seen her behind the counter wildly arranging stems of beautiful blooms and foliage. Her eye is perfect for La Terre. Botanical and organic, yet with a great sense of design and proportion. Loreen’s greatest love is creating floral art that expresses the desires of her clients, but in an unexpected and more elevated way than they would have thought possible. She has over two decades as a florist in the Milwaukee area and has a reputation as one of the best local floral designers and trainers. We are proud to have her lead our design team.
Our Vibe
Our style is organic but urban, unpretentious and abundant. We use lots of textures and floral varieties to create movement and explore unexpected pallets. We believe in supporting the local grower whenever possible. We are inspired by the change of seasons and let them guide our design concepts.

Wow, where to start with Meg and Loreen! We first met at a wedding expo this past winter and their booth was beautiful!! Their booth was everything I was looking for, so if the price was right I knew that I wanted to work with them for our wedding. I gave them my contact information and took down theirs and called them to schedule a meeting the very next day. When I met with Meg and Loreen I felt super comfortable with them right away. I showed them my Pinterest board and from that they knew exactly what kind of floral (greenery in my case) that I was interested in, and how they could make it fit into my budget. In between then they were great at replying in a timely matter (sometimes almost immediately) and even reached out when a better rental chair became available to see if I would be interested in it (which I was). From the start I knew they had our best interest in mind. The wedding day was absolutely beautiful, it looked like it came straight out of my Pinterest board. We received so many compliments! I love that they have a little shop in Mequon so I can always stop in and say hi, and get some fresh flowers.
